Meso Redacted

Meso Redacted was the fourth character I created, but the second to reach level 80. Her name, originally, was "Mesohonee", and was named after my FFXI Mithra mule of the same name. However, after getting her to 80 and playing with her for a year, someone took offense to the name and reported her. I had to change the name and picked "Meso Redacted" as a protest. It's funny, in FFXI I had Mesohonee for at least five years, and muled[1] with her often. Yet I never had a single complaint against my character's name.

While it was the fourth job I created in GW2, Ranger quickly became one of my favorite (if not the favorite) jobs in the game. Its high survivability, coupled with a diverse set of weapon skills (amazing range and AoE with Longbow, great DPS and enfeebles with shortbow, stellar mobility and 1v1 WvW/PvP damage with greatsword, awesome multi-hit DPS with Axe, useful and deadly skills with warhorn and torch, and super-quick sword attacks) made it a terrific general purpose job. I wound up using it for PvE events, WvW roaming (in groups and solo), PvP (when I felt inclined) and everything in between.

As of fall 2015, Meso Redacted is my "most played" character, with the highest play time of all my characters.

[1]: Muling in FFXI meant several things. However, the kind of muling I'm referring to here is when you'd sit your mule in a high traffic area with items for sale during the hours you weren't playing. This meant that the character sat in one spot, essentially being a shop, for hours and sometime days.
