My only male character, Cor Aut Mors, is no longer male. I had grown increasingly disappointed in the medium armor looks available for Norn. Everything was either trench coat, or various forms of unflattering fatness. Meanwhile, over on the female side, the medium armors look much better. So, I changed him to a her with a total makeover kit:

Doing so also solved a long-standing problem where I haven't been able to really solidify this characters look. Once I had the armor look nailed down, I was able to start working towards the rest of the gear. Huzzah! I also respec'd the character to be more geared for WvW (which was another long-standing problem, namely, I had nothing really to do with my Engineer/Scrapper).

Continued the new season of the Living Story. It's been really awesome, as each new patch has not only added new missions but also entirely new areas. I'm uncertain how long anet can keep this up, as it seems kind of crazy, but for now, I'm absolutely loving the new direction for the Living Story.

So far, the story has continued the story from LS2 and from the HoT missions. Mordremoth's death has caused Primordus to stir, as well as influenced Jormag (two of the other Elder Dragons). This has taken us to new lands and locations. Additionally, Glint's egg (which was the main focus of LS2 as well as a major focus of HoT, as you were set to protect it) finally hatched and a new dragon (Glint's offspring) was born:

This baby dragon is friggin' cute as fuck.

I've been messing around with my key farming character. In my characters page, I say her name is "Betsy Singer", and while that has been true in the past, lately I've been getting more and more creative in her naming. Recently, I hit upon a variant of the Hitler Did Nothing Wrong meme which resulted in some pretty hilarious situations.

October saw the return of the Mad King event, which, if you'll recall, is one I've loved in the past.
