I mentioned that I've been playing Necro more now that I've found a build
I like. The result is that I'm doing a lot more stuff with her. For example,
here she is
after climbing to one of the "impossible spots" in Sparkfly Fen. She also
was a witness to one
of the most bizarre map chats ever, where at least one dude was advocating
for us to be more tolerant of incest. Yeah. Hopefully they were trolling....
Hopefully...
Meanwhile, over in [SAND]'s guild hall someone made some truly legendary
staircases that took you all the way to the top boundary of the zone:

[SAND] also had their last Dry Top run until the summer. Many people in the
guild have school things coming up like finals and other crap. So we're taking
a break. (This has another awesome side-effect of letting the Clay Pots rise
again in price :-)
At any rate, here's a screenshot of the sandies who attended the last run.

Finally, Super Adventure Box ended (sadface), but before it went away
Trix and I
were able to get all the way through World 3. So we're set for when (and if)
the next zones are added.
I've mentioned my Mystic Forge strategy before.
It's a common strategy, and I know a lot of people do the same. Previously, it
only netted me one precursor, although that is certainly the aim. Well, once again
I've been chosen and received a precursor!

Bleh.... Rage. The precursor that leads to, arguably, the ugliest
legendary there is. Feh...
I sold that shit.
There have been rumors and rumbling regarding Living Story Season 3. I have
no clue when that might actually drop, but for now, we've been given
new content that many people are saying is a "LS3 prelude".
What happens is you get this drop from various dragon minions (I got it from
Sons of Svanir, Jormag's followers... it may just be a Jormag thing, I don't
know). You take the drop to an NPC in Lions Arch (the same one who recounts the
events of LS1), who points you to three locations in the world. At these locations
ley-line energy is escaping from the ground, and every 10 minutes an event
spawns where you fight back minions and eventually a
champion mob.

The event is reasonably fun, even if the boss dies waayy too quickly
due to the fact it doesn't really scale well. The boss is called a
coalescence,
which seems to imply it is comprised of ley-line energy.

As usual, the battles are technicolor
eye-gasms.
"Criswell" is a pretty uncommon and unique name. I
used to use it as my pen
name when I drew my comics, and it's what I typically use (at least as a
base) for most online things such as my
twitter account, my reddit
account, etc. as well as most gamer IDs. I chose the name in reference to
The Amazing Criswell.
It's so uncommon, I'm always shocked when I find other people using the name. Thus,
I was pretty shocked to find the most recently added NPC to the game to be named
Criswell.
Fucking. Weird.
I also finally got my Ele to 80 (I forget if I've already mentioned that, and skinned her with the theme I'd been
building up since before she was created. Ultimately, I think her look is pretty
fucking stellar.
